they both cheated Rose bet on the game, Bonds cheated to enhance his performance and stats. I would have to vote Bonds simply because he wasn’t the only one and the league did very little to do anything about it during his peak years. Rose’s transgressions were more serious and out of the norm, to the say the least. But I’ll have to give it up for both, they are world class jerks :p

Rose Pete Rose should already be in the HOF. There are womanizers, alcoholics, racists, and soon to be cheaters of steroids and HGH in the HOF. Yes Rose broke a sacred rule by betting on the game, but that came as a manager. Not as a player. He should be in the HOF for what he did as a player. And he was one of the best that ever played the game. He never used anything that enhanced his numbers, he did it on heart and love for the game. (and talent). Pete Rose should definitely in the HOF before Rose. He should already be in the HOF.

good points, DPHill As far as we know, Rose never cheated to achieve his monstrous offensive career stats. I think he should have already been put in the Hall. I think the problem with Rose is that he has popped off and said a lot of horrible things about baseball in recent years. I mean, I don’t blame him for being resentful for not getting into the HOF, but show some more class, Pete!
