If Golden State had faced the Lakers instead of the Nuggets, would the result have been different?

re; I said this before the series and I’ll say it again, put the Nuggets on a big stage and they’ll implode. Why are they imploding so easily? Because their entire scoring method is based on Melo or AI beating their man off the dribble, rather than ball movement. Finding the open man is secondary to Melo and AI getting 20+ shots a game. The only reason JR Smith scores on that team is as a bail out for Melo or AI when they can’t finish a shot.

The Nuggets need a PG. It’s too late to try and trade AI and dealing Melo would be mortgaging their future. This team doesn’t pass or play defense, and when Kenyon Martin and Melo are playing matador leaving their only good defender, Camby, to cover 3 guys they get smoked.

At least the Warriors pass and don’t rely on 1 on 1 situations as much. Honestly, how many times have you seen AI, Melo, or Kenyon after he’s scored a few points touch the ball early in the shot clock and not throw up a shot? How many times have you seen Baron, SJax, or Monta get the ball early in the shot clock and pass it? Point made.

I believe that the Warriors would have won one game at this point, but the Lakers are too good for them this year. Still, I think the Warriors would keep this series tighter than the Nugs.

no chance why did the Nuggets have to win the last playoff spot. the GSW would of been a better match and more of a fun series to watch them vs Lakers. stupid Nuggets! they should just trade Allen Iverson to GSW for like 5 scrubs!
