After a brief stint in Sunday’s match, Ladainian Tomlinson sat out the majority of the AFC Championship game after re-injuring what was classified as a hyper-extended knee. Especially in light of Rivers’ brave performance, should LT have sucked it up and played?
laughable Deion Sanders calling LT soft? Prime Time is the guy who never tackled anyone, he was scared of contact.
Deion was 10 times the athlete LT is LT could only dream of being at Deion’s status. It’s no secret that defensive backs are the best athletes on any given team. Injury or not, Deion was never on the sideline in the big game. he’s called Primetime for a reason and it’s because he always came through. regardless of whether LT was too hurt to play he wasn’t on the field so I agree with Deion. -bB
Deion Sanders Was Wrong LT’s whole game is based on the fact that he is explosive and able to run past defenders when he gets a burst. At 50% he can’t do that so he wouldn’t be as effective. Him going out there and playing at 50% last week would have negated the Chargers running game completely.
Michael Turner can be a starting RB for half the teams in the NFL and is 100%.....why not start him and give your team a better chance to win the game?
I dont think LT’s toughness has been questioned until now. Sanders, on the other hand, is a hypocrite because his toughness was always a question. It’s easy to lampoon someone after your career is over.
