Not there yet Is MLS improving. Absolutely. Is it at the level of EPL? Hell no! But I definitely like the direction that MLS is going in and would like to see us take on the best. We have played well against some top teams that come to the U.S. during the summer, but those teams are out of season. Let’s play them in-season, with something on the line and then we’ll see.
intercontinental competition would be nice
maybe one of the MLS teams could draw with an EPL squad slated for relegation! it’d be a start.
for 10+ years the rest of the world was slaughtered by USA basketball but then they caught up. perhaps if the us played against top competition more often then the learning curve for usa soccer would go up.
