Olajuwon was unreal he embarassed Shaq and Lil Penny in the Finals that one year. he also gave Clyde Drexler a championship. too bad Barkeley came a year late and missed out on the rings! -bB

Olajuwon Made Other Centers…. ....look plain silly. Probably the most athletically talented big man in the history of the NBA outside of Chamberlain was Hakeem Olajuwon. This guy did it all…outside shot, dribbling, post up. He schooled Shaq, Ewing and Daugherty consistently back in the late 80’s and the ’90’s.

First ballot Hall of Famer.

the dream is a lock. he’s probably the most agile big man to ever stop on the hardwood floor, a top 3 shot blocker in the history of the game, and one of the most humble professional athletes ever. he deserves it. excellent poll NYsportsguy!

Ewing too Olajuwon is a lock.

I also think Patrick Ewing should/ will get in on the first try. While he was not nearly as polished a center as Olajuwon and he lacks the rings that Olajuwon has, Ewing was one of the one or two greatest shooting big men of all time. Despite his reputation, he did perform well in the playoffs overall, including some big performances in crucial games. He was also a very good to great defensive player and rebounder. Ewing was an all-time great college player as well.
