With multiple teams still vying for the playoff spots, which team will provide the best storyline? There are many scenarios that could be interesting.

I will admit being a cubs fan. But think about the number of cubs fans their are, only the Red Sox, and Yankees have larger fan bases, and they both have had somewhat recent WS titles. There are only a handful of cubs fans who have been alive while their team won a WS. And any of them cant remember what day it is. It will be insane in chicago if the cubs win. A party that will last for months. The Rays dont really have any fans, they will get some band wagon like the rockies did last year. Plus the media will eat up the cubs having a chance to win their first in 100 years, so the media hype will get to people as well.

dont be surprised if the rays win it all because the marlins won it all in 2003 with nearly no fans. i still dont get how the cubs have so many fans when they have sucked for a century. i dont even think supposed cub fans are ‘cub fans’ except a select few because they go to games for the festivities and not to watch the game
