Evans is soft he hasn’t done anything of note, just a very mediocre light heavyweight in an already packed division. I wish Houston Alexander was in this bout, one way or another. Bisping is coming off a controversial decision “win”. Talk about mediocrity.
100% Correct You hit this one right on the button. Rashad is horrible and always has been. Most of his fights he just took people down and held them on the ground. He is a great wrestler but still has a ways to go to be a complete MMA fighter. In his recent fights beside the Tito one he has shown a little diversity but still has not proven himself as a top contender. He was lucky that Tito was very persistent about grabbing the fence in their fight because Tito had that sealed up.
Agree and Disagree I agree that Evans is not as good as the hype surrounding him. His undefeated record is great and all, but the compitetion he has faced is sub-par save Tito Ortiz. On the other side of the coin Bisping has an undefeated record that is underwhelming as well. Bisping is coming off a fight in which many people think he was dominated, and in my mind he showed just how run of the mill he is.
I agree with Freddie Footballer that seeing Bisping fight Alexander would be much more enjoyable to watch, but we don’t get that luxury. I think we are going to see Evans etch out a victory between these two TUF winners. Evans is too quick and elusive for Bisping, and I think his improved striking will keep him in there until he wears Bisping out, takes him down and then will stall while on top to win a boring 3 round fight.
