Lake all-star Kobe Bryant already “edged” out Chris Paul for the MVP award, can he overtake the Celtics-Pistons winner to win the NBA title as well as lead the U.S. Men’s Olympic basketball team to a gold medal as well?

Yes.....2007-08 will be Kobe's ultimate dream season

how about no because USA basketball is the weak link in achieving the tri-fecta. It won’t be Kobe’s fault if the US doesn’t win the gold…

USA Basketball isn’t weak They have the best talent in the world plus (more importantly) they will be hungry. Foreign competition has improved somewhat but that is still no excuse not to win the gold.
