can't argue with that. Slice was tremendous standing even after being gassed. Thompson took a lot of ferocious hits, so he's got a great chin. As for Faber, he was awesome in close in hitting from angles and utilizing dirty boxing. those elbows, backfists, strikes on the ground, were just phenomenal. He looked fresh in the 5th. Credit to Pulver for taking all those vicious shots.

I wouldn't count out Sherk, but he seems somewhat outmatched by Penn. Sherk will want to keep it standing, but Penn can bang too. I think Sherk will have to catch a lucky break to win. Maybe Penn will come in overconfident and won't train that hard?

Yes, it was a good fight for GSP and it played out the way I thought it might. He will dominate this division, then fans will be asking for either cross-promotional or inter-divisional fights within UFC.

I actually think the GSP-Serra fight will look like the last GSP-Hughes fight. Total domination. Referee stoppage due to strikes - a la ground and pound, I say.

for the warriors, I braced myself once they lost the nuggets game. as for penn-sherk, I definitely think this fight will end either in a late round penn submission or a decision for bj. as for gsp-serra, i predict first round tko for gsp.
