Wow That was a pretty harsh reaction. I really don’t think you should judge the entire sport based on the actions of one Joe Smo. And if you’re calling baseball players unathletic, then you obviously haven’t watched any middle infielders at great length. And as far as unclassy? What would you say is more classy? Hockey, where they knock each other’s teeth out? Football, where they create dances specifically to mock other teams or individuals (and in baseball, if you simply watch a home run leave the park, you get beat down)? Baseball is still one of the classiest sports out there; there will always be a few obnoxious individuals, but really, do you want to make the argument that there are most unclassy, obnoxious individuals in baseball, than, say the NBA?
