MLS I continue to ask myself why, even though I follow all the top football (american football should be called throwball by the way) leagues in the world and consider myself somewhat of a football fanatic, I couldn’t tell you whats going on in the MLS. The MLS to me is like watching the developmental league. I love football, why has the MLS not grown on me? Is there something wrong with me? Am I not as passionate about football as I think I am? I really could care less about the MLS. I watch 5 minutes of it and get bored. Yet, I could watch 90 minutes of a replay from any European league match. Its going to take a lot more than some former big name players who are at the end of their career to get me to follow MLS. I know I really sound like a real hater, but could somebody explain why I feel this way. I swear I’ve tried. After all, I live in the US. Why shouldn’t I follow the MLS and know about each and every team in it? I don’t know whats wrong, I guess its just me.
try watching Charlie the product now is better than it was just a couple years ago. the Designated Player rule has improved the overall quality of play.
I’ve Tried Watching Its horrible. I think its years and hundreds of millions of dollars away from becoming a decent product to enjoy watching. But I agree that it is possibly getting better. What bothers me even more is when you have morons like Alexi Lalas running a club in the MLS. The guy is a complete idiot.
HOW DO YOUSPELL GOLAZO? Climbing the ladder. Up or down? Who cares?! It’s GOLAZO!!! fiesta. Get your chips and salsa ready and lets watch together.
0.11 – that’s a real GOLAZO!!!. The guy looks African because he’s doesn’t sport the tight fade. Maybe it’s Freddy Adu.
0.19 – i always love it when a defender tries to juggle the ball joga bonito style in a packed area only to lose control to a guy who belts a thunderous GOLAZO!!! towards goal only for the second guy to try to rip the seams off the ball and his shoes with another GOLAZO!!!.
0.28 – that looked like womens soccer.
0.32 – either that center forward guy got crunched hard on a tackle or he whiffed really bad. I mean, really bad. But luckily that other guy got a chance to rip it GOLAZO!!! style.
0.40 – GOLAZO!!!
0.45 – what makes the MLS great and exciting is the fact that it is home to top quality defenders like this guy, who contributes to another great GOLAZO!!!.
0.52 – the MLS is known for being a breeding ground for top quality goalkeepers. Watch the GOLAZO!!!. Offsides and all, but still GOLAZO!!!
0.57 – MLS and insane dribbling abilities are symbiotic. the guy is so good with his stepovers, he nearly ate grass. GOLAZO!!!.
1.10 – sure that was MLS??? GOLAZO!!!
1.16 – the hallmark of MLS soccer is top notch defending as proudly displayed by Abel Xavier, the former Portuguese and Liverpool washout. His distinctly noticeable haircolor serves as a beacon for attackers to take him on and dribble in between his legs, a challenge of its own! Here we see how top notch defending by Abel Xavier and the other guy who jogs to the play and the keeper who lets the ball slide through for a magnificent GOLAZO!!!
1.30 – spell it with me: G-O-L-A-Z-O!!!
1.40 – offsides? forget that! GOLAZO!!!
1.45 – top-notch defending again by Abel Xavier (better known as Scary Spice of the 90s hitgroup “the Spice Girls”) produces another majestic GOLAZO!!!
1.53 – the point of a cross in the MLS is to get the ball all the way to the other side of the field, as you see here. Plain and simple – GOLAZO!!!
2.05 – notice how fast star-player Abel Xavier runs to cover his position. Then notice how much faster he’s going to cover the open goal when his keeper was bypassed. GOLAZO!!!
