Just shut up and play ball…. ....if the Mets can’t score more than one run or get shut out by a terrible Nationals pitching staff someone’s gotta sit everyone down there and rally the team together. Now I admit there were some opportunities for the club to get one or two runs late in the game yesterday but a combination of great defense and lazy base running screwed us over.

Hopefully we take two out of three from the Yankees this weekend then can string together a good four or 5 game winning streak later on in the week.
